Service Description
Time to celebrate Christmas together with a lovely meal in our local Italian Restaurant, and a few (lots of) cocktails ! Lo Zafferano will be putting on a three course meal for us and we will have exclusive use of the restaurant so that we can relax, eat, drink and celebrate our year of achievements. 3 course meal is £38 per person, plus 10% booking fee (£41.80 total) £15 deposit to secure booking Balance of £26.80 to be paid by 15th November. STARTERS Selection of 4 starters to share Bruschetta, Calamari Fritti, Gameroni allo Zaferano - King prawns cooked in garlic, chilli, saffron, white wine, lemon, butter and parsley. Arancini - Deep friend rice and mozzarella balls coated with breadcrumb. MAINS Arrabbiata alla Romana Penne with garlic, chilli, cream, pecorino cheese and tomato sauce. Penne cavolo e broccoli Savoy cabbage, broccoli, diced potatoes, garlic, chilli, and fontina cheese Penne di carne Penne cooked with diced beef fillet, onion, garlic, mustard, rosemary, red wine and napoleon sauce. Fusilli cacciatore Diced chicken, pancetta, cougette, red wine, parmesan cheese, tomato and cream sauce Linguine ai gamberi King prawns and baby plum tomatoes in a garlic, chilli, white wine and pesto sauce. Risotto Pollo e spinaci Arborio rice with chicken, leeks, spinach, pine kernals, garlic, white wine, cream, butter and parmesan cheese. Pollo provolone Chicken escalope layers with aubergines, smoked mozzarella and pesto in a tomato sauce, served with creamed mashed potatoes. Grilled Sea Bass Grilled sea bass fillets in a saffron, caper, white wine, lemon and butter sauce. Served with sautéed potatoes and tenderstem broccoli. Braised Lamb Shanks with garlic, onion, fresh herbs, red wine and tomato sauce. Served with mashed potato, peas and carrots. Pork Medallions with garlic, onions, mushroom, white wine, tomato & cream sauce. Gratinated with mozzarella. Served with leeks & mash potato. DESSERTS White chocolate and passion fruit cheesecake Profiteroles Small puff pastry filled with Chantilly cream and covered in chocolate cream. Caprese Homemade traditional Italian chocolate and almond cake. Served with vanilla ice cream. Budino di cocco e amaretto Coconut and amaretto flavour egg custard baked in a sauce of caramelised sugar.
